Langkawi

Day 1

En route to Empire Damansara

stopped by Haraju Cube to grab something to eat.

Butterscotch milk was AWESOME

The matcha toast was so so. Prefer the savoury one.

okok chio

WAH CHIO BU

Then off we go...to the airport.

on the train.

we had the silliest argument there as usual because beloved Sophia got the boarding time wrong. but in the end, we laughed at each other..HARD because its not the first time we're actually late for our flight. these girls never learn *rollseye*

I swear we rushed like mad but lucky us, we made it to the boarding gate just in time. We ran as if we were in the Olympic. no joke :/

LESSON OF THE DAY : never nuaarrr on the bed -.-

It was a short flight so we arrived one hour later. YAY! We were then greeted by Mr. Shauski who was in-charge of our car rental thingy. Collected our car and off we go to our hotel. It is advisable to rent a car there in Langkawi because I believe getting a cab there can be quite difficult or really pricey. So driving yourself there would be more convenient and most importantly, you get to travel from place to place easily.

Checked-in at The Villa, Langkawi. Showered and then head out for dinner. We drove all the way to Kuah Town for chee char lol. We did some research and this place was known for their yummy food and fair price.

All of these (including drinks and three plates of rice)for RM 50 Portion was big too. Did i mention the boss was super friendly too?
Stocked up some liquor and chocolates cause why not. We're in duty free heaven man. I am quite pleased as the choices here in Langkawi are more. They have chocolates you can't get elsewhere. not even in Labuan.

Got back to the hotel and hit the sack

Day 2

at the beach trying to absorb some Vit D lol before going for breakfast

We decided to have our second breakfast here in a French Bakery nearby our hotel. YES! You heard it right. We actually had breakfast in our hotel before leaving.

After sending our friend off at the airport, we decided to act a lil touristy.

Here's my driver hehe (a reckless one)

what else can you do at a passenger seat. SELFIE!

First stop : The Langkawi Sky Bridge

SEXY BACK

on our way to the sky bridge, people were warning us that its super tiring and there is nothing there and we were like, how hard could it be LOL. Plus I paid my entrance fee man. oh boy, i was wrong

Can I just say that the view up here is breathtaking! Getting here was easy. We just had to go down the steps carefully and go through a short jungle trekking. But after that .... JENG JENG JENG.. the nightmare begins. we have to climb all the way up.

Not sure if it's worth it. Maybe, if I lose a few kgs.

more selfie :O

okok last one ! oops

Second stop : The Black Sand Beach

erm...  other than black sand, there's nothing else here. so yeah. but it's worth dropping by since it's nearby. The beaches here are all next to each other so it's quite easy to find.

Look very appetising right?

We had Chinese food for dinner the night before. So this time, we decided to go for Malay food instead. We went to this restaurant which look quite atas. Surprisingly, the food wasn't that expensive. RM10 per dish. We ordered ayam masak lemak and a soup, seafood tom yum if I remember correctly. The food was pretty good imo. The total was RM20++.

went for a walk after dinner and of course I had to get me some Gelato. (coconut x pistachio)

Day 3

I know it's funny but yeah we went island hopping on our final day in Langkawi :'( our flight was pretty late.

my sibling

Eagles. A bit scary ah tbh

we were hungry after all that swimming and stuffs. Decided to spend our afternoon in this pretty English tea room because the weather was freaking hot.

Since we still have some extra time to spare, we decided to visit the Seven Wells Waterfall. Again, we had to climb all the way up to get to the well. *sigh*

showered and changed after a quick dip in the Seven Wells Waterfall.  This time, it's time to bid Langkawi goodbye as we had to go to the airport to return our car.

chilled at Starbucks because our flight was delayed -.-
When we got back to KL , it was already 12.30am i believe. Overall, it was a memorable trip.

till then :P

Handmade Heroes

You might already heard of the brand, but in case you haven't, Handmade Heroes is an all natural skin care company based in Singapore. Their products are 100% natural, free of preservatives and are completely vegan! Besides that, their price is super reasonable too which is a plus point for me (poor student problem :/)

Now, its finally available here in Malaysia :) YAYYYY

Here are a few of their products I got for myself

The packaging of their products is so so pretty. I'm sure all the girls get me. We usually get attracted by cute and pretty packaging first no ?

The lip tint works great in keeping my dry or chapped lips moist and smooth. According to their website it is supposed  to have a sheer tint of pink nude with a hint of ultra fine shimmer but to me it is just another lip balm

This scrub really does help to exfoliates those unwanted dead skin cells leaving your skin smooth and moisturised. I secretly hope it can help to reduce the appearance of cellulites hehehe
I've used it twice and I don't see any difference on my problem areas just yet but I love how it leaves my skin feeling so smooth after shower.

Major love for this lip scrub. It smells SOOOOO GOOOD I wish I could just lick it off my lips. heh. It does a really good job in exfoliating my chapped lips. buh bye to my dry lips. Application of any lip product became easier and smoother. Now i can easily glide on my lipstick especially the matte ones without having to worry it'll look gross anymore lol

And not forgetting, they have really good customer service too. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase. I'm thinking of getting their dry shampoo and body scrub too hehe

Don't judge!

2014 had been nothing short of amazing. nah. Who am I kidding? 2014 had been a roller-coaster ride for me.

I was battling with my inner self the whole time. I wouldn't say I have depression cause that's too severe but I am almost there LOL

But good thing is I got over it. So yay!

The only thing I regretted was my studies. I know could have done and performed better. I just need to try harder. I'm glad my father understands and never give up on me. <3

Since it's a brand new year, we all get a chance to start anew. Time to leave our regrets behind. I don't have any new year resolutions cause I don't think I can follow all of em. I am just gonna be positive towards life, appreciate everyone around me and love myself more. And, I don't think we need to wait for new year for a change. We should live everyday to the fullest. If you feel there's something you need/want to do, DO IT!

Ohya! I've started a Carousell account quite some time ago. In case you don't know, Carousell is a marketplace whereby you can sell your unused or preloved stuffs - clothes, electronic items, books etc You can also purchase items from other sellers at a fraction of their original price.

My wardrobe is exploding so I'll be selling some of my clothing items there. In any case you're interested in getting them, feel free to contact me :) Most of them are either brand new or are still in good condition. just search for my name : catherinehong or click on the link below !
